Good Morning!
I Have Been Thinking
Have you ever tried to sit down and do an entire presentation in one sitting? I have an belive me the stress is just not worth it. Like most projects it is best done in pieces. And, like most projects it is done backwards.
We have already talked about the first three
1. Getting the idea or topic
2. Gathering information and resources
3. Develop an outline of the key points
The next step is to gather the visuals. Almost every presentation will have visuals of some kind from graphics to charts and maybe even handouts that will need to be prepared. Remember one picture is worth a thousand words. The right pictures will help tell the story, they will also help to organize your thoughts and organize them in the thoughts of your audience.

Ice Breakers
Duelling Barbers
A new hair salon opened up for business right across the street from the old established hair cutters’ place.
They put up a big bold sign which read:
“WE GIVE SEVEN DOLLAR HAIR CUTS!”
Not to be outdone, the old Master Barber put up his own sign:
“WE FIX SEVEN DOLLAR HAIR CUTS”
Thought for Today:
“Think for yourself and let others enjoy the privilege of doing so too.”

Tips and Techniques
I think sometimes that most people are quite visual. It is at times very difficult to visualize a concept. When gathering visuals – or creating them let the picture tell the story in such a way that people would understand without you’re saying a word.
Happy designing!
